About us

The East Africa Careers Guidance Practitioners Association (EACGPA) started working in East Africa, comprising of Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda & now Rwanda, Burundi, and South Sudan, in 2002. It is a registered charity in the UK since 2009 

Registered Charity no: 1131450.

We collaborate closely with supporting schools to ensure they have the necessary resources and support for implementing an effective CEIAG program. By fostering a collaborative environment, we encourage networking and knowledge sharing among careers professionals, enhancing the overall career guidance experience.

Careers Advisers

Careers advisers offer personalized advice, assess career options, and assist with decision-making, ensuring individuals make informed choices regarding their education and career paths.

Careers Teachers

They deliver structured lessons, workshops, and activities to students, helping them develop essential employability skills, career awareness, and understanding of the labor market.

CEIAG Program

These schools work closely with careers advisers and teachers to ensure students have access to valuable career resources, guidance, and opportunities, fostering a supportive environment for career exploration and decision-making.
